The easiest way to find out your size is to visit your local jeweller and ask them to do a sizing for you (this is free-of-charge). It’s recommended that you get your size taken at two or three different jewellers and at different times of day if at all possible. This will allow for variations in sizing equipment and the fact your hand naturally shrinks and swells throughout the day.

If by chance you live in a remote areas or are unable to get to a jeweller, sizing bands are available for loan at a fee of $60, which will be added to your orders total cost. The sizing bands will be sent to you express post, along with information on how to take your size. A pre-paid self-addressed envelope will also be included in the parcel to make retuning the sizing bands simple. If you would like to loan a set of sizing bands, just note this when placing your order.

Here are a few tips to help you decide upon a size:

  • David makes to the half size.
  • Ideally the correct sizing band should slip over your knuckle going on, and then catch on your knuckle coming off (although this isn’t always the case for people who have particularly small or large knuckles).
  • If you’re struggling to decide between two sizes, it’s best to opt for the smaller size, as David’s rings are much easier to up-size than down-size.
  • Fingers often swell in hot weather or overnight so keep this in mind when choosing your size.
